At the end of the moving set, Twigs performed an unreleased track from her forthcoming album. “It was really incredible to expose myself in that way, mid-process,” Twigs says. “I’m actively working on in the studio at the moment; A lot of the movements in the [Valentino] piece, and the things I was trying to portray, will be the physical language that I bring onto the album.” She says you can anticipate its release sometime next year—and to expect the unexpected. “I’ve grown a lot as an artist and I see things very differently now,” she says, “so I’m ready to push myself.”
