Outfitted in a black top and black trousers, Middleton added a pop of color in the form of a bright yellow L.K.Bennett blazer in honor of #HelloYellow, a campaign that was launched to support the YoungMinds charity and raise awareness about young people’s well-being for World Mental Health Day. The choice of color instantly communicated the theme, which was “stand out and show up for young people’s mental health.” On a similarly touching note, Middleton accessorized with gold star-shaped earrings which also carried a meaningful connection to the day’s events. Dubbed “Issy Star,” they were gifted to the royal by Sarah Renton, a Maidenhead Rugby Club coach whose 17-year-old daughter Isobelle Phipps died by suicide earlier this year.
