At the premiere of Asteroid City in New York, Scarlett Johansson looked to a crisp white Carolina Herrera dress that featured a halter neck and floral embellishments. It was prim and proper, yet totally unfussy. Same goes for the Alaïa shirtdress that Jennifer Lawrence wore for a No Hard Feelings photo call in Madrid the actor elevated the summer essential with a thick leather belt and muled heels. Pretty florals also had a moment on the step and repeats this week. Emilia Clarke looked to a sweet, strapless Emilia Wickstead frock for her Secret Invasion premiere in Los Angeles, while Tracee Ellis Ross chose Jil Sander’s graphic yellow floral dress for the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City, complete with a caped silhouette. Garden chic! If subtlety is more one’s taste, however, Keke Palmer’s Sergio Hudson gown at the 2023 Fragrance Foundation Awards proved that a classic LBD will never go out of style.
