A mid day shopping stop at Balenciaga that included an outfit change at the store. Loved this deconstructed and exposed stone wall, the perfect backdrop. It’s the end of an era This morning, designer Jeremy Scott announced that he will be ending his 10 year run as the artistic director of Moschino. While leading the charge for the Italian fashion house, Scott has infused Moschino with his energetic spirit and sense of humor. His runway shows were always guaranteed to be colorful, playful, and fun a reminder that fashion shouldn’t be so serious. Nowhere was this more apparent on the red carpet. Scott has dressed some of the biggest celebrities of the decade in his cheeky, whimsical designs. And in honor of the news, Vogue is looking back at some of Scott’s very best red carpet moment
It didn’t take long for A listers to begin working with Scott after he joined the house in 2013. One of the designer’s earliest muses was Katy Perry. The pop star famously wore four different Moschino looks for her 2015 Super Bowl halftime performance the costumes including a beach ball inspired dress, a flame dress, and a bejeweled sports jersey. Perry has also worn Scott’s Moschino to the Met Gala on multiple occasions most famously in 2019, when she wore his chandelier dress on the red carpet (it even lit up!) and a wearable hamburger at the after party. Deliciously fun.
