I was independent, and that allowed me to achieve and do so much. I was always a leader, and I believe leadership is so valuable in anything. Leadership is all about how people respond to you. I don’t think I could have imagined any of these things happening because I do it organically, and it’s never been a plan. I’ve never been ambitious. People think that’s completely ludicrous when I say that, but I’ve never been ambitious. They think it’s impossible because they believe, if you have success in something, you have to be ambitious. But if it was never your ambition to succeed at that particular thing, how could that be ambitious? Sometimes it just happens because you’re the one who’s supposed to do it.
